Sali
Privacy policy
Effective October 3, 2026
In short: everything you log in Sali stays on your phone.
Sali has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. It doesn’t have permission to use the internet, so it can’t send your data to us or to anyone else.
Who we are
Sali is an app for tracking rehab after an Achilles tendon rupture. It’s made by Sali Arr, an independent developer. In this policy, “we” means Sali Arr.
Questions about privacy: clovisappsali@gmail.com.
What Sali stores on your phone
Sali saves what you enter so it can show your plan and progress. This includes:
Recovery details you enter during setup, such as your injury date and which leg is injured
The exercises on your plan and the ones you mark as done
Tendon loading sessions you log (date, time and type of hold)
Milestone tests you log: date, result, weight, reps, and whether your physio was there
Your body weight
Appointments: date, time and type (physio or doctor)
This is health information, so Sali keeps it on your phone. It never leaves your device through Sali.
What we collect
Nothing. We don’t receive any of your data. Sali doesn’t use analytics, crash reporting, advertising IDs or tracking of any kind. It doesn’t ask for any special permissions, such as location, contacts, camera or microphone. It can’t connect to the internet.
Sharing and selling
We never receive your data, so we don’t share it, sell it or pass it to advertisers or anyone else.
Signing up for the closed test
The rest of this policy is about the Sali app. This section covers the sign-up form on this website.
If you sign up to test Sali, we collect the email address you enter. We use it only to add you to Sali’s closed test on Google Play and to email you the invite link. We don’t use it for marketing.
The form is run by Framer, which hosts this website, and each sign-up is emailed to us. To give you access, we add your email to the tester list in Google Play Console. We don’t share it with anyone else.
We keep your email while Sali is in testing, then delete it. To have it removed sooner, email clovisappsali@gmail.com.
Phone backups
If you have Android backup turned on, Android may include Sali’s data in your phone’s backup to your Google Account, so it can be restored on a new phone. Google stores that backup under your account and we can’t see it. Google’s privacy policy covers it. To stop this, turn off backup in your phone’s Settings.
How long data is kept, and how to delete it
Your data stays on your phone until you delete it.
Remove exercises and appointments from your plan inside the app.
Delete everything by uninstalling Sali, or by going to Settings → Apps → Sali → Storage → Clear storage.
Delete a phone backup from your Google Account’s backup settings.
We don’t hold a copy, so there’s nothing to delete on our side.
Security
Sali keeps its data in Android’s private storage for the app, which other apps can’t read. Anyone who can unlock your phone could open Sali and see what you’ve logged, so we recommend using a screen lock.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you the right to access, correct or delete data that a company holds about you. We don’t hold any data about you. Everything is on your phone, where you can view, change or delete it yourself. If you have questions, email clovisappsali@gmail.com.
Children
Sali is meant for adults (18 and over) and isn’t directed at children. It doesn’t collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If Sali ever starts collecting data, for example crash reports, we’ll update this policy and Sali’s Data safety section on Google Play before that version is released, and change the effective date at the top of this page.
